SLEEP, Nancy Mollie Esme. With great sadness the family announce the loss of Nancy, peacefully on Monday 5th April 2021, aged 97.

Dearly loved wife of the late Clarence Wesley. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Chris & Belinda Sleep, Carol (dec’d) & David Pentecost and Roger & Elaine Turner. Loved Nana of Pete, Lisa, Antoinette (dec’d), Melissa, Bevan, Chelsea, Oliver and Nigel. Loved great-Nana of all her great-grandchildren. Loved sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend of many.

The family wish to express their gratitude to the staff of Ward A2, Waikato Hospital, for their care and attention to Nancy.

A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held in the Hamilton Park Chapel, Morrinsville Road, Hamilton on Tuesday 13th April at 1pm followed by a private cremation. All communications to the Sleep Family, C/- 262 Ohaupo Road, Te Awamutu.

    I lived just behind your beloved Nancy, in Clarkin Road for 5 years. Although she generally called a spade a “bloomin” shovel, she was always a lady. Whenever I made pot of soup, I would take her a couple of servings and the following day she would return the container and say “if I don’t bring it back, I may not get anymore”. She was a great neighbor and we shared many a laugh. Rest in Peace Dear Nancy
